Where we start

West Virginia’s Potomac Highlands

Initial focus: Petersburg and Grant County; Moorefield and Hardy County; Romney and Hampshire County.

Regional pilot scope: Franklin and Pendleton County; Davis and Tucker County; businesses serving visitors around Dolly Sods.

The reason behind the idea

After five years living in the region, Joshua still finds that knowing who to ask can determine whether he finds a local service. This venture starts with that experience: help a good business become easier to find beyond its existing circle.

A focused regional pilot, with the service area and project scope agreed for each business.

Why this matters

You shouldn’t have to
know someone to find a business.

Word of mouth is part of what makes a small community work. But a family new to the area, a traveler near Dolly Sods, or a neighbor looking for a different service may not know who to ask. We help give those people a clear place to start.

Our job is to make your business information easier to find and act on—whether a customer starts with a recommendation, a map, a web search, or an AI assistant.

Good preparation improves accessibility to search and AI systems. Indexing, rankings, and recommendations remain outside our control.

The offering

Start with being found.
Build from there.

We focus first on the details a customer actually needs: your services, real service area, hours, directions, and how to reach you. Additional tools follow the needs of the business.

01

Understand your starting point.

A local discovery review: can someone who has never met you find the right business and know what to do next?

  • Your own website, social presence, and relevant local listings
  • Service areas, hours, contact details, and search accessibility
  • Mobile usability, readable content, and working customer actions
  • A prioritized plan with a defined scope
02

Build a website that does its job.

A useful online home for an established local business—even when your customers mainly call or text.

  • Responsive pages and fast, accessible media
  • Services or menus, actual service areas, hours, and directions
  • Accurate structured business information
  • Call, message, quote, booking, or ordering options matched to your work
03

Make useful AI connections.

Help search engines and AI assistants interpret your public information. Add callable tools only when there is a useful task.

  • Public information tools through MCP
  • Clear permissions for any action or private data
  • Optional booking, ordering, or payment integrations
  • Public directory submission preparation when appropriate
04

Stay accurate through the seasons.

Keep seasonal hours, menus, event locations, and service areas current, with a care plan that has clear limits.

  • Agreed seasonal updates and support response times
  • Form, link, and tool checks
  • Optional measurement of inquiries and customer actions
  • Documented ownership, exports, and third-party costs

Built and explored

A real test of the approach.

This is our technical test case for a local organization. It shows how a website can be paired with program information tools; it does not establish sales or search visibility results for a rural business.

Working prototype

Raptors RXI Ref Guild

A public referee recruitment website paired with an installed personal plugin that answers questions about the program.

Explore the website ↗
  • Public landing page and an interest form
  • Explicit OAI-SearchBot guidance and a sitemap
  • Four read-only program information tools
  • Applications remain on the website form

The plugin is currently personal. Public directory verification and submission are pending. This is not a public marketplace listing or a claim of search inclusion.

Your starting point

What does your
business need first?

Tell us the town or area you serve, where your business appears today, and how customers should contact you. Download a brief to review and share.

A useful first conversation:
Which customers have trouble finding you? What do they need to know? Do they prefer to call, message, or request a quote? Then we define a practical scope and cost.

This private concept currently creates a local brief only. It does not send an inquiry or book an appointment. A verified business contact channel will be connected before public launch.

Your entries stay in this page and your downloaded file. No account or email address is needed.

A few clear answers

Practical questions. Plain answers.

Do I need a website if most customers come through word of mouth?

Word of mouth can keep working. A simple website gives the next person somewhere reliable to check your services, hours, service area, and contact details—especially when they do not know the person who usually makes the introduction.

Can you work with my existing website?

That is one of the intended service paths. We first review its structure, hosting access, content, and customer journey. The resulting scope may involve focused improvements or a rebuild, depending on what the site needs.

Does AI readiness guarantee that an assistant recommends my business?

No. We can make business information accurate, accessible, and easier to interpret. Search engines and AI services independently decide what to crawl, index, cite, and recommend. Crawler access does not guarantee inclusion.

Do I need a plugin to have a useful website?

A website should deliver its core value independently. Plugin tools are optional and should support a specific task. Personal, workspace, and public directory distribution have different setup and approval requirements.

Do I need to replace Facebook or start taking online payments?

No. The project can build on the way you already work. A lightweight website can support calls, messages, and quote requests. We only add bookings, ordering, or payments when they are useful and the costs and responsibilities are agreed.

What does a project cost?

Pricing will follow a written scope covering deliverables, revisions, hosting, integrations, and ongoing support. The service is still being developed; this concept does not advertise a final rate or accept payments.

Who owns the website and connected accounts?

The project agreement should specify ownership of the domain, content, source, hosting, and customer records, including export and handoff arrangements. Client payment and other business accounts should have clear client ownership and delegated access.

Will you install tracking or connect Google services?

Measurement is optional. We choose tools around what the business needs to learn and document the data involved. Google Analytics and other third-party connections are not required for the basic website offering.

Privacy for this preview

The project brief is generated in your browser. This page does not submit your form entries to a server or save them between visits. The file you download contains the information you entered.

No third-party analytics, advertising pixels, externally embedded video players, or payment collection has been added. The promotional video is served from this website and plays when you choose to start it. The hosting platform may process request information under its own terms and privacy practices.

A final business privacy notice and applicable service terms will be prepared once the operator, contact channel, hosting, and any integrations are confirmed.
